Our board of directors meets monthly, usually on the fourth Monday. It usually meets in the evening but sometimes in the afternoon to accommodate the personal schedules of members of the board. Meetings are held in the Community Room at the library, 295 Paseo Grande (near the intersection with Hesperian Blvd.). Meetings are informal (but follow an agenda). You do not have to be a member to attend, and all those attending may participate in discussions.

Our annual membership meeting is held each January. At this meeting members vote to fill vacancies on the board and discuss the direction of both Friends of the Library and the library itself. Members have the right to call a special membership meeting at any time (see Article 12, Section 8 of the bylaws).
