Board Members present: C. Webb, K. Webb, E. Lemcke, M. Dias, N. Kent, D. Yanagi

Meeting began at 6:09 pm.

Treasurer's Report: Checking account balance: $16,690.16 - CD balance - $9,123.58. Dias moved and Lemcke seconded and report was approved.

Board Meeting on May 24 will be held at the San Lorenzo Homes Assoc. Building and it will be the Election of Officers.

Anthony Dos Santos reported:

- The closure of the library for renovation is now in progress. Anthony is at the Castro Valley Library.
- Centennial Meeting was held in April and some members will go to the Redevelopment Agency to ask for more money for event.
- The County Library System will also be celebrating along with our library on October 3, 2010.
- Advisory Committee will meet on April 29 at Alice Lai Bitker's office on Hesperian Blvd.
- Scott Bohannan has resigned from the Redevelopment Agency.
- Asked Friends to pay for a "San Lorenzo Library" banner which will cost approx. $100.00. Approved by the Board.
- Will try to have library staff at the Farmer's Market starting May 1.

Natalie Kent said Lynn McGann would do the website and she may come to the June meeting. Also, suggested we need some kind of logo on new stationary. She will also make a poster regarding book sale etiquette.

Eb Lemcke reported on the abbreviated by-laws that he wrote. Everyone agreed that his revisions were quite understandable. These revisions will be passed at the May meeting.

Dorothy Yanagi announced her resignation but will still try to attend meetings.
