Call to order (C. Webb): 6 p.m.

Directors present: Marilyne Dias, Eb Emcke, Natalie Kent, Carl Webb, Karen Webb, Dorothy Yanagi Minutes (Yanagi): Note revision of the following sentence, "The cost of copying this Issue will be $350," should be: "350 copies of the newsletter and the book sale fliers will be printed." Motion to approve: (Dias/K. Webb), unanimous.

Treasurer's report (K. Webb): Checking account has $13,763.64) and CDs have $9,077.52. Motion to approve: (Dias/Kent), unanimous.

Library: No report.

Book Sale (Kent): A few more volunteers are needed for the upcoming book sale starting October 3rd; Dias will help make calls. C. Webb noted that a post-sale committee meeting should be scheduled and announced for anyone interested in giving input. Next book sale probably Jan. 14, 2010.

Membership: (Kent): There are ninety members. C. Webb again emphasized need to build e-mail list to distribute general information i.e. book sale and meeting reminders.

Senior Outreach (Dias): Meetings are held on the third Wednesday. Dias will send e-mail to directors.

Next meeting date is Monday, October 26, 2009, 6 p.m.
